Kathy Sweetnam
Kathy is the founder and owner of Midwest Networking Services, LLC. Kathy started working in computers in 1988 as a computer technician and programmer for a small business in the southern states. Kathy excelled in her career and moved back home to St. Louis to work with large enterprise level clients for over 15 years. With the expertise and certifications earned over the years, Kathy opened Midwest Networking in late 2001. Her certifications include: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Certified Novell Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Administrator and Citrix Certified Administrator.
Mike Fredrich
Partner | IT Manager
Mike Fredrich began his Information Technology career in 2005. Currently, Mike is the IT Manager at Midwest Networking Services, where he started in 2011. Midwest Networking provides technology consulting to companies through a highly collaborative and innovative approach. These solutions are delivered responsively and flexibly implemented by professionals who are personally responsible for the outcomes. Mike's responsibilities include technology and solutions practice management, and business development. Mike supports his clients in person and remotely, and implements the latest technologies to maintain and improve every client’s performance. Working closely with clients, Mike ensures the solutions provided are functioning to the fullest extent. Prior to starting at Midwest Networking, Mike worked independently for his own IT Services Company, Fredrich Electronics. He provided a full range of services for the IT needs of small to mid-sized businesses.
Julie Lancaster
Office Manager
Julie Lancaster joined Midwest Networking Services with extensive Microsoft Office, record keeping and client relations experience. Prior to joining Midwest Networking Julie worked for a fortune 500 global financial corporation for over 13 years where she acquired her knowledge of data spreadsheets, access database building and excellent written and verbal communication skills. She is dedicated to providing excellent customer service our clients have grown to expect from us.
Jimmy Huckstep
IT Consultant
Jimmy joined Midwest Networking Services in 2015. His desire to work in IT has lead him to seek higher education at ITT Technical Institute. Before coming to Midwest Networking Services, he worked for a similar company for 8 years supporting clients remotely and on-site. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of computer, software, and network support with experience in network design and VoIP telephone systems. We are excited to watch him succeed and grow with Midwest Networking Services.
Mike Hoff
IT Consultant
Mike comes to us with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Communications Engineering and an Associate’s degree in Computer and Electronic Engineering. He graduated top of his class from ITT Technical Institute in 2009 and opened a mobile device repair company. Being in the industry since 2006 has taught Mike to become proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and has allowed him to become an excellent communicator. During his free time he is an avid hockey player. We are excited to watch Mike succeed at Midwest Networking.
Adam Rood
Field Technician
Adam joined Midwest Networking Services in 2015. He is currently pursuing an Associates of Applied Science from St. Charles Community College focusing on Cyber Security, as well as his MCSA certification. Previously he gained valuable customer relations experience working in retail as well as developed creative problem solving skills.
Chris Biondi
Field Technician
Chris joined Midwest Networking Services in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Networking Operations & Security from Western Governors University. Chris's previous experience in retail sales and providing remote software support gives him valuable problem-solving skills and helps him to provide amazing customer service.
Shari Veihman
Office Assistant
Shari started working at MNS in August 2017. Her background is in the medical field as a registered nurse and she joined our team on a part time basis to allow her time to care for her elderly mother. She provides clerical support to our staff and clients in whatever way she can.
